We still miss you and think of you constantly. And although the pain eases with time, the loving memories remain as strong as ever.
Forever in our hearts and in our thoughts.
Love,

Fom then I always looked forward to recieving her emails pictures gifts and beautiful hand made cards that she sent me, we also did lots of reminising over things from the past.
Sadly her planned visit to the UK was not to be, I was so looking forward to seeing her again.
I feel truly honoured to have been a friend of Susan and are thinking of You, Alan and the family.

It might seem very normal for a relative as close as your grandmother to be, well, close, but that’s not always the case. And the normalcy of a life like that is extremely important. Especially when not everything can be so nice and ‘normal’. My memories of Granny are only the best, and with every word she spoke to myself and my siblings, and every one of the words she wrote on her handmade cards exuded kindness. It seemed that there was never an iota nor a single hint of vulnerability or ill treatment of anyone around her.
She is an extremely caring, special person, and for having her in my life I could not be more thankful.

I met Susan when she came with Alan to Narwee Baptist Church about 10 years ago. I came to know her well when we attended the same Homegroup (Bible Study group) for the past 6 years. Susan became a dear friend, I will always remember her bright personality, her enthusiasm for everything, her smiling face, her love and thoughtfulness, but mostly for her love of her Saviour and her amazing Godly example during her illness. I will miss her very much, but praise God for her life that continues its’ influence on so many other lives.

Odem: “If the essence of my being has caused a smile to have appeared upon your face or a touch of joy within your heart, then in living I have made my mark”. Susan touched my heart and there she will always stay with love and precious memories

When we were young I remember always saying to Susan , don’t go to sleep before me as we shared the same bedroom . I think I woke her up half the time but she always said no ok.
I was so gutted when she chose to go to Australia but at the time I worked with an Australia fella and he said that I should be crying that I was not going .
I’ve enjoyed so many visits to Australia infact I was there when they bought their house, the neighbours put on a welcoming party and nearly all of these neighbours are still there and have been wonderful friends to Susan and Alan . I have so many treasured memories .
xxxxxxx

I was the eldest. Tony Heather susan Carol and myself used to all play together. When we got to the grand old age of eleven, Susan and myself joined the st johns ambulance,we both felt very important as we had a uniform, and weekends we would both help out in a childrens home,or an old peoples home, we also helped out at London Airport and a picture house, we loved that as we got to see the films for free. At the age of thirteen we went camping to the I.O.W with the ST johns Ambulance 150 of us from all over England. That is when Susan and myself became famous,.. well we thought we had. We were chosen out of 150 girls and boys, to have our photo taken, and we were then on all of the posters and envelopes for one whole year. We laughed about it for ever… Susan was a wonderful friend and she will always be in my thoughts, I will miss her great emails and miss our great friendship that we had. x ………..I will cherish these wonderful memories for ever.

Aunty Susan will always be in my heart and thoughts and will be deeply missed xxxxx
